Chicago: Direct Hire Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegals as they are in very, very high demand in the current market. Our clients include both sophisticated law firms and in house corporate legal departments. The Real Estate Paralegal will assist with coordinating real property acquisitions and sales, loans, lease, and development transactions. They will draft correspondence, and other Real Estate related documents. See the desired qualifications below and apply with us if interested!
We expect salaries for these roles to be anywhere from $80,000 up to $125,000 (approximate) depending on candidates experiences and credentials.
Responsibilities:

Draft real property documents, including purchase and sale agreements, deeds, promissory notes, deeds of trust, and foreclosure documents

Prepare documents for non-judicial foreclosure actions

Prepare closing books
-
Analyze/review title reports and legal descriptions
-
Communicate with escrow officers, title officers, and insurance company employees
-
Work with surveyors, appraisers, and lenders to obtain property information
-
Obtain information from government officials regarding taxes, assessments, building permits, etc.

Record real property documents

Skills/Experience
-
3+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal required

Bachelors degree or paralegal certificate preferred

Great multi-tasking skills
-
Ability to stay organized while in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication and time management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
