As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Banking in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the financial institution.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
- Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
- Support access control procedures and monitor for unusual activity within the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
