Position Overview:
Trimitron Corp. is seeking a highly experienced System Engineer IV to provide on-site support at NavalNaval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific’s Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division . This role is critical to the success of the contract and requires a seasoned professional with strong systems engineering expertise, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to project team members and assist in evaluating new technical resources
- Support users in the development and integration of systems and environments
- Install, manage, and upgrade systems and user utilities; diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently
- Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system problems
- Plan and execute system version upgrades and custom interface releases
- Independently analyze hardware/software interface performance and recommend optimization strategies
- Participate in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting operating systems and software
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
- Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in systems engineering
- Demonstrated proficiency with systems modeling tools such as Cameo, JIRA, and Confluence
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct performance optimization and risk assessments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations
- Security+ certification is preferred
- At least two (2) years of system-level experience in one or more of the following areas: Post-delivery Support, Requirements definition, System design parameters, Concepts of operation, Risk assessment
