Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer with deep experience in IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and AWS services to play a critical role in supporting and evolving our enterprise-grade file transfer platform. This is a production-focused operational role that emphasizes stability, security, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support, maintain, and enhance IBM SFG-based integrations.
• Collaborate with AWS-focused teams to enable secure cloud-to-cloud file transfers.
• Address operational issues, including incident response, system monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.
• Guide integration strategies for new partners and systems using SFG.
• Write Python scripts for automation, system integration, and monitoring.
• Provide documentation and support for production environments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
Must-Have Skills:
• IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) or Sterling Integrator (SI) experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python for scripting, automation, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially: EC2, Lambda, KMS (Key Management Service), IAM, VPC, and basic networking concepts
