Temp-to-Perm | Company Vehicle + Gas Card Provided

We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Field Technician ready to tackle everything from HVAC systems to plumbing and electrical repairs across multiple commercial sites in the Charleston area. If you thrive on variety, problem-solving, and being the go-to expert, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do:

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems in commercial facilities.

Travel between multiple sites with a company-provided vehicle and gas card.

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.

Maintain building systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Support contractor oversight and coordinate vendor work as needed.

Keep accurate records, complete work orders using CMMS platforms, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
What You Bring:
-
5–7 years of experience in commercial facilities maintenance.

Strong expertise in one or more core trade areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems.

EPA 608 Type II certification (Universal preferred).

Proven ability to diagnose and correct system malfunctions quickly and effectively.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile work order systems.

Valid driver’s license required.
Bonus Points:

Trade school or formal training in electrical, HVAC, or refrigeration.

Experience with refrigeration systems and walk-in coolers.

Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.

Pay Details: 42.65 per hour
