Job DescriptionSalary: $33-35/hour DOE
Felix Construction Company, a top self-performing water/wastewater contractor in the Valley, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Level 3. This role will make repairs to a wide variety of heavy equipment. This position will report to the shop to do repairs including some field repairs as needed. The position is 40 hours a week with occasional overtime when needed. Help us build what matters!
What You'll Be Doing
- Repair equipment including but not limited to backhoes, loaders, excavators, CDL trucks, and lifts
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
- Operate and test equipment after repairs
- Follow and complete equipment inspection forms
- Must adhere to company and job site safety requirements
- Be responsible for the upkeep of company work trucks when driving one
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience as a mechanic required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work at extreme temperatures and stand for several hours per shift
- Welding experience is a plus (training provided for the right candidate)
- CAT ET software knowledge required
- CDL a plus (training could be provided for the right candidate)
- Have basic tools and electrical diagnostic tools (test lights, multi-meter)
- Have ability to use GPS and cell phone technology to locate job sites, use company email and other applications
- Well organized, good communicator

- Must have a valid drivers license with good driving record
- Have the legal right to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
- Maintain a yearly medical exam
- Be on time and ready to work every day
