Equipment Mechanic – Barnsco Texas
Fort Worth, TX Full-Time

Barnsco Texas, part of the Kodiak Building Partners family, has been serving the concrete construction industry since 1984. We provide equipment rentals, sales, maintenance, and repair services for medium and heavy-duty construction machinery. We’re seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team and ensure our fleet and customer equipment operate safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on forklifts, tractors, trailers, and other construction equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, lube, filter replacements, and safety inspections.

Assist customers with equipment issues and provide timely service on-site.

Submit repair bids, complete work orders, and maintain accurate paperwork for the Equipment Service Manager.

Train new employees and assist with team development.

Perform road calls and emergency repairs as needed.
What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or GED required.

2+ years of hands-on experience in construction equipment maintenance, heavy equipment repair, or industrial equipment service.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills; ability to read schematics and use computer-assisted troubleshooting tools.

Ability to lift 75 lbs., climb on/off equipment, and operate machinery safely.

Valid driver’s license and professional, customer-focused attitude.
