Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves engaging with students in various activities, assisting with lesson planning, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. The Assistant Teacher will play a crucial role in promoting early childhood education and supporting the developmental needs of each child.
Duties:
- Engage with students during classroom activities, encouraging participation and fostering a love for learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources for crafts and activities.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff to build strong relationships within the school community.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is safe for all children.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or preschool experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and colleagues.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and implement behavior management strategies.
- Understanding of childhood development stages
