Job qualifications


Have a love for children. Be reliable and friendly

Excellent communication skills.

NYS Certification or study plan preferred

Job Responsibilities:


Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.)

Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict.

Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum. (Identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.)

Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.

Track childrens progress.

Communicate with parents regularly.

Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

A Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and two years experience in a licensed early childhood center

or proof of current and active enrollment in an accredited Associates or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field
