Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator
Job Description
Job DescriptionOur client in the clean energy sector is seeking an Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator to provide support to programs and operations for solar energy deployment initiatives. The role will help day to day operations and assist project managers. A background in Operations is preferable. Looking for people with 1-3 years of experience. This is a 2-year role starting on 2/23. Pay rate is: $19.50-22.50 depending on experience.
Responsibilities Include:

Reviewing and processing incentive and program applications

Preparing and executing award letters, project modifications, assignments, and extension requests

Assisting in the development, documentation, and organization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Supporting operational process development and execution across multiple programs

Maintaining accurate records and data within internal systems prior to incentive release

Contributing to the organization’s internal knowledge base and information center

Performing other duties as assigned to support program goals and objectives
Skills & Experience Needed
Technical & Professional Skills

Demonstrated understanding of basic analytical principles

Knowledgeable in at least one relevant technical or programmatic area

Awareness of energy-related topics, including research, environmental science, or economics

Ability to interpret and analyze information and data

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Systems & Tools

Working knowledge of Oracle/PeopleSoft or similar high-volume data entry platforms

Experience with CRM or program management systems (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent), Microsoft teams, Asana
-
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software
Program & Operational Skills

Ability to understand and apply program rules outlined in program manuals

Experience developing, implementing, or streamlining operational processes

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under close supervision
Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to produce clear, logical, and grammatically correct written materials (with minimal editing)

Positive, collaborative attitude with strong interpersonal skills

Ability to accept direction and constructive feedback from senior staff

Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
