Overview
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated mechanical systems at customer sites. This role is well-suited for individuals with a mechanical engineering background who enjoy hands-on problem solving, travel, and working directly with customers. Our client is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates eager to grow their skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service mechanical/electromechanical systems in the field
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues involving motors, drives, conveyors, and sensors
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime
- Calibrate, align, and adjust mechanical components to meet performance standards
- Provide training to customer staff on basic operation and maintenance
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly
- Travel regularly to customer sites, including occasional overnight stays

Qualifications

Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent hands-on training/experience)
-Strong mechanical aptitude; basic electrical knowledge beneficial
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel; valid driver's license

Preferred
- Previous field service or equipment maintenance experience
- Familiarity with automation systems, controls, or PLCs
- Experience with alignment, calibration, or precision adjustments
