SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst must have strong Excel knowledge. This position will be responsible for data analysis and reporting of all essential business functions as required by contracted clients and support business development functions and other corporate-level strategies. This position provides assistance to the Business Analyst Manager for the day-to-day operational management of corporate data including data-mining, forecasting, operational reporting and analytic systems, voice-of-customer collection systems and tools, and qualitative/quantitative research. The Data Analyst will assist the Business Analyst Manager in data analysis, report development and production, and in assuring compliance with all contract reporting requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.
  • Assist BA Manager in producing and submitting contractually required reports regarding call center and provider network performance measures.
  • Validation of data and reports in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Measure performance against strategic objectives and process requirements.
  • Assist in data analysis for performance improvement solutions that optimize decision-making, streamline business processes and reduce operational risk.
  • Participate and assist in quality initiatives requiring analysis of data and/or development of reports.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance analytic methodologies.
  • Evaluation of historical trends to project staffing and other business resource needs and identify potential performance shortfalls.
  • Assist in the design and development of charts, graphs, grids, scorecards, and dashboards for graphic display of various business data elements.
  • Interaction with other departments to research, measure and evaluate business processes and to assist in problem resolution and process improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Experience in statistical and analytical methodologies.
  • Ability to utilize information systems to collect, aggregate, analyze, and report metrics to drive quality improvement efforts.
  • Experience conducting performance measurement, monitoring and reporting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables
  • Results-oriented with the ability to bring teams together to achieve targets and goals.
  • Demonstrated consistent level of high performance.

  • Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
