Product Development Manager, Fertility & Personal Care

SASMAR is excited to announce an opening for a Product Development Manager. Based in Malta, SASMAR is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company renowned for our personal care and fertility products, including the acclaimed Conceive Plus brand. Our products are marketed in over 70 countries through diverse channels such as pharmacies, hospitals, supermarkets, and clinics.

The Product Development Manager will spearhead the entire product development lifecycle, guiding ideas from conception through to market introduction. This leadership role will require collaboration with various departments including R&D, Marketing, and Operations to create cutting-edge and high-quality products tailored for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development initiatives to ensure timely launch of new products.
• Perform comprehensive market research to uncover consumer preferences and competitive landscape insights.
• Effectively manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for product development projects.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Operations teams to brainstorm and develop innovative product concepts.
• Establish and maintain detailed product specifications covering formulation, packaging, and labeling.
• Oversee comprehensive product testing to evaluate stability, performance, and consumer satisfaction.
• Ensure all products meet regulatory compliance and quality industry standards.
• Continuously monitor existing product performance and recommend adjustments or enhancements.
• Stay abreast of market trends to identify new opportunities for product innovation and expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in product development, ideally within the pharmaceutical or personal care sectors.
• Exceptional project management capabilities, with an aptitude for multitasking.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory considerations and industry practices related to product development.
• Adeptness in carrying out market analysis and consumer trend evaluations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in working collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Innovative thinking and a keen eye for creative solutions.
• Robust analytical and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
