Job DescriptionStaffing Network is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Kinston, NC. The maintenance mechanic is working in an aerospace manufacturing facility, and will be actively performing preventative maintenance, repairing, and responding to emergency situations as needed.Shifts/Hours for maintenance technicians:2nd shift- 3:00PM-11:30PM3rd shift- 11:00PM- 7:30AMPayrate for maintenance technicians:$25.00-$28.00/ HourDuties and responsibilities for maintenance technician:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and document maintenance activities- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics- Fabricate or repair parts using welding, machining, or other methods as needed- Conduct inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and address them proactively- Supervise and coordinate contractors for larger maintenance projects- Maintain a clean and organized work areaQualifications for maintenance technician:- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude- Familiarity with logic controllers and other control systems- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- Leadership skills to supervise contractors and coordinate maintenance activitiesNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
