ConMet is seeking an experienced EDI Analyst to support and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions that comply with established standards, procedures, and work processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and external trading partners to design, implement, and support EDI integrations that align with organizational priorities and business needs.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve EDI processes, reliability, and scalability.

This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time zone to support our East Coast customers. Core work hours are 8am - 5pm EST. Applicants in other time zones will be considered if they are willing to work Eastern Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements and technical specifications from internal stakeholders.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality, efficient EDI solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, test, and support EDI transaction set maps and trading partner integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure project scope, timelines, and delivery expectations are clearly communicated and met.
  • Provide ongoing EDI support, monitoring, and troubleshooting to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Document EDI processes, procedures, and technical specifications to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Analyze EDI transaction metrics, error reports, and trends to identify root causes and recommend process improvements.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across EDI processes, transaction flows, and partner integrations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Information Technology or a related field preferred).
    • Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree may be considered with 5+ years of progressive EDI experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on EDI experience.
  • Experience with Seeburger BIS strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, including IDOC processing, preferred.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards and document processing.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL transaction statements.
  • Working knowledge of SAP IDOC processing and module maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of communication protocols, including AS2, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, and VAN.
  • Broad understanding of B2B document workflows and trading partner integrations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

  • New hires generally start between $84,029 - $114,040. The full salary range for the position, across all geographies, is $84,029 - $144,050 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
  • Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year which runs from October 1 – September 30.

    • ESOP - Participation (100% company paid) in the ConMet/Amsted Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). The Company contributes 10% of considered compensation into this plan each fiscal year.
