Pay Rate: $80–$85/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle testing strategies to support system quality, patient data accuracy, and seamless workflow operations within a complex healthcare environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that clinical, financial, and operational systems function reliably, efficiently, and safely across hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute QA planning, testing strategies, and validation activities for Oracle-based systems supporting patient care, revenue cycle, and hospital operations.

Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, and scenarios aligned with functional, technical, and clinical requirements.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system accuracy and workflow integrity.

Identify, document, and track defects and enhancement requests; collaborate with IT teams, clinical stakeholders, and application owners to drive resolution.

Analyze test results and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

Support Oracle system upgrades, patches, and new implementations to ensure continuity of mission-critical hospital applications.

Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, patient privacy regulations (HIPAA), and internal quality assurance policies.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to review requirements, prioritize testing efforts, and improve system performance and reliability.

Provide testing and validation support during go-live events, downtime procedures, and post-implementation phases.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience leading or executing Oracle testing initiatives in a healthcare or hospital system environment.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycles, and documentation best practices.

Hands-on experience validating workflows related to patient care, clinical documentation, billing, or hospital operations.

Experience with defect-tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Quality Center.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and operational stakeholders.

Experience supporting software upgrades, system integrations, and user acceptance testing initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working within large hospital systems, acute care environments, or enterprise healthcare applications.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, healthcare data workflows, and EMR/EHR integrations (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech).

Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
