Job Description
The Staff Engineer is responsible for producing plans and specifications for assigned tasks or portions of projects. The engineer will be technically involved in resolving design problems, which may include detailed design work, general coordination of specific designs, and performing field investigations or inspections. The Staff Engineer is also responsible for meeting schedules on assigned tasks.
Job Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and modification of plans, specifications, reports, construction schedules, permits, and designs for projects.

Develop skills in specialized design software relevant to site development.

Build design skills in all areas relevant to site development.

Conduct site visits to review construction progress and perform duties as required by contract documents.

Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.

Meet schedules on assigned tasks.

Assist with coordination of sub-consultant activities.

Follow policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
-
1+ years of experience.
-
EIT preferred.
-
Proficient with MS Office.
-
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
