Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of maintenance technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient operation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role ensures that maintenance work is performed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily maintenance operations, assigning tasks and monitoring performance of maintenance personnel.
- Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance (PM), and equipment inspections.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and other production equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians to develop technical skills and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action for equipment failures.
- Support capital improvement projects and installation of new equipment.
