Besimple AI is a YC-backed startup improving the clarity, reliability, and safety of emerging AI systems. We are expanding our curated global bench of AI data analysts who bring strong attention to detail, consistent quality, and a genuine interest in audio-focused data work.
This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity.
Contractors choose their own hours, work from anywhere, and decide which projects to accept.
What You’ll Work On:
Contractors support structured audio review and data quality tasks. Project participation is by invitation, and within each project, tasks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Work may include:
• Listening to short audio clips and evaluating clarity and accuracy
• Reviewing and correcting machine-generated transcripts
• Identifying linguistic, acoustic, or content-based features
• Evaluating environmental and non-speech audio
• Supporting quality checks for datasets used in early AI development
Contractors who consistently deliver high-quality work are prioritized for future project invitations.
What Makes Someone a Strong Fit?
• Strong listening skills and close attention to detail
• Steady, methodical work style
• Clear English communication; multilingual is a plus and international candidates are welcome.
• Experience with transcription, annotation, audio, linguistics, or QA (helpful but not required)
• Ability to follow written instructions and work independently. To demonstrate you can do this, please include the word “Signal” in your cover letter.
