SQL DATA MANAGER

This position is a direct-hire role in Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation not offered. Local candidates only.
Workplace type: Hybrid (on-site 2 days per week)

Seeking experienced SQL professional to support data management, reporting, and analytics within a financial planning, analysis, and reporting environment. This role is responsible for maintaining database integrity, writing advanced queries, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support financial reporting databases, ensuring integrity, security, and performance.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SSRS and related tools.
• Cleanse, validate, and transform large datasets for consistency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to define metrics and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, structures, and processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in SQL-focused roles supporting BI and data warehousing.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience writing queries and pulling reports.
• Proficient in SSMS, SSRS, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Oracle and Essbase is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data modeling, database management systems, and business intelligence best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively in a collaborative setting.
