Job Description
Join our team at a dynamic manufacturing facility where you will perform a variety of custodial duties. Your role will include tasks such as trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning. Additionally, you will be responsible for clearing packaging and minor debris related to facility construction. This position requires independence and minimal supervision, with a focus on maintaining the cleanliness of a large facility. You will be expected to manage supplies and coordinate with supervisors for replenishments.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning.
- Clean up packaging and minor debris from facility construction.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Manage supplies and notify supervisors for reordering when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in janitorial or custodial roles, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work independently and recognize daily tasks based on experience.
- Strong understanding of environmental service practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in floor maintenance, including the use of floor scrubbers, ride-on equipment, and side-by-side machines.
- Preference for candidates who can attend an in-person or video interview.

Work Environment
The position is based in a very large manufacturing facility that is slightly air-controlled but not fully air-conditioned. The building is new and well-maintained, offering a comfortable work setting. Two shifts are available: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookshire, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
