We’re currently seeking an Affordable Housing Leasing Specialist to support leasing and compliance at a 900+ unit mixed-income community in Chicago, IL.
This is a strong opportunity for a leasing professional with affordable housing experience who can navigate a diverse unit mix that includes market-rate, affordable programs, and CHA. The right candidate will help drive occupancy, maintain compliance, and deliver great resident experiences across a large, multi-phase property that blends historic buildings and newer construction and is currently around 92 percent occupied.

Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end leasing process for market-rate, affordable, and CHA units to meet occupancy goals
- Conduct tours, process applications, verify eligibility, prepare leases, and maintain accurate resident files
- Partner with compliance to support certifications, recertifications, and program documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service and resident relations across a large, multi-phase community
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations to ensure timely turns and on-time move-ins
Qualifications
- 1+ year of affordable housing experience preferred
- Familiarity with CHA processes and affordable housing programs
- Strong attention to detail with experience in documentation, income verification, and audits
- Proven leasing or sales results in a high-volume environment with strong communication skills
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office or Google Suite
