General Statement of Duties: The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing oversight to all projects and maintenance required to keep the assigned properties presentable and running smoothly.

- Ensures all maintenance and facilities of the estate are managed smoothly.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for maintenance and vendor projects, overseeing construction & remodel projects in conjunction with Leadership.
- Manages staffing and resources to ensure projects and objectives are completed.
- Creates maintenance plans specific to each property and ensures proper execution.
- Prepares, presents, and manages budgets related to estate operations, including invoices.
- Inspects properties regularly ensuring cleaning, maintenance, and repair needs are met and up to standard.
- Supports event preparation, execution, and clean-up.
- Participates in recruiting, training, and performance management of staff.
- Works as a team player supporting a variety of staff, visitors, and functions.
- Displays a caring and responsive attitude.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates regular attendance as an essential job function.
- Participates in performance evaluation process, educational trainings, and meetings as requested.
- Maintains fiscal responsibility in spending.
- Exercises discretion and maintains high level of confidentiality.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills: Knowledge and experience of general large-scale estate projects. Experience working with high-end clientele in a fast-paced family setting. Attention to detail and organization with great attention and care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills. Ability to receive criticism and follow detailed instructions with discretion. Ability to drive. Willingness to learn new systems. Comfortable around domestic animals. Maintains effective working relationships with Principals, co-workers, guests, and vendors. Displays exquisite customer service and hospitality. Maintains a professional appearance with an above and beyond positive attitude. Is calm, adaptable, and flexible. Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and nights. Travels as needed.
