LHH is looking for a detail-oriented Labor and Employment Paralegal with at least 5 years of civil litigation experience, to join a reputable law firm onsite at their office in Addison, TX. In this role, the paralegal will assist attorneys with workplace-related legal matters by managing case files, drafting documents, conducting legal research, and coordinating discovery.

Annual salary range of $60,000 to $80,000

80 hours of vacation and 80 hours of personal time for the first five years

Responsibilities:
-
Manage case files, draft documents, and conduct legal research

Coordinate discovery and assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

Draft discovery requests and responses, motions, and proposed orders
-
Communicate daily with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, and courts
-
Prepare and organize demonstrative evidence for trial
-
Conduct factual investigations, including witness interviews
-
Manage electronically stored information (ESI) using platforms like Logikcull and Relativity
-
Monitor and track critical deadlines using CompuLaw
-
Perform legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other tools

Log billable hours using software such as Juris Suite
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5 years of related litigation experience required

Extensive knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and Rules of Evidence

ABA-approved paralegal studies or certificate
