JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Proline is a division of HPC Foodservice. Proline is hiring a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing cooking equipment at our customer locations. Our technicians also provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment. We service restaurants, schools, hotels, grocery stores, country clubs and healthcare communities. This is a full-time, union position within Teamsters Local 671.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Proline Field Service Technician reports directly to the Proline General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Commercial Cooking Equipment
- Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism
- Complete service calls promptly and according to procedure
- Communicate effectively with customers and managers
- Participate in a normal rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call schedule
- Maintain Service Vehicle, parts, tools and uniforms
- Attend Training Sessions
- Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.
- Other tasks as required or as directed by the Proline General Manager or Proline Office Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma.
Experience:
- Experience working on cooking equipment such as ovens, combi ovens, fryers, etc. a plus
- Experience in electrical, Plumbing or HVAC a plus
- Extremely strong customer communication skills
Reasoning: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must have basic English, writing, math, and computer skills.

- Must have valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Possess or willingness to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
- Must have strong people skills to work with diverse internal/external customers.
