Field IT Technician – Site Deployment & Integration Specialist

Full-Time | On-Site & Field-Based

Location: Atlanta, GA

Proximity to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is essential, along with the ability to drive to multiple operational locations across the Southeastern United States, including industrial sites, and office environments.

Company is seeking a highly capable Field IT Technician to join our IT Services & Integration team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys collaborative deployment, configuration, and support activities across a diverse set of acquisitions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in standardizing and modernizing IT infrastructure through site assessments, user onboarding, systems setup, and operational alignment with enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform site audits to assess readiness for IT integration, including power/network infrastructure validation
  • Deploy standardized IT setups for workstations, mobile devices, printers, and file services
  • Travel regularly to acquisition sites and newly constructed industrial sites, executing migration plans and user onboarding
  • Configure and troubleshoot local network equipment, including switches, access points, cellular modems, and SD-WAN appliances
  • Maintain detailed documentation of deployments, asset inventory, and network topology

Experience with:

  • Prior experience in field IT service roles, preferably supporting industrial or distributed office environments.
  • Exposure to M365 tenant environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Familiarity with endpoint provisioning tools and mobile device management (MDM) systems
  • Understanding of network fundamentals including VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and remote access protocols
  • Comfort operating in construction and active industrial environments using proper safety protocols
  • Associate’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the predominately in the Southeastern US (50%+ field time)
