Job DescriptionApplied Innovation is seeking an IT Administrator Tier 1 to join our internal IT team at our Corporate Office in Grand Rapids, MI. This role is responsible for providing first-line technical support to Applied Innovation employees (internal clients), ensuring an exceptional customer service experience with each interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support through calls, tickets, and walk-ins
• Listen effectively to understand the issue and determine its root cause
• Communicate solutions clearly and professionally, maintaining a positive, upbeat tone
• Resolve issues in person, via remote management tools, or through our ticketing system
• Escalate or route issues to the appropriate IT resources when necessary
• Provide timely follow-up to ensure issue resolution
• Stay current on new hardware and software technologies
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as projects demand
• Manage time effectively with guidance from leadership

Qualifications:

• Associate degree (or higher) in Networking, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and common operating systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
