Boutique Real Estate Firm Seeks Legal Assistant for Fast-Paced, Real Estate Transactional Law Practice


About Firm & Position:

A well-respected boutique transactional real estate firm seeks a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join its high-performing team. This 100% onsite position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside top real estate attorneys who specialize in drafting complex opinion letters for commercial real estate financing transactions. The firm is routinely retained by major Am Law firms representing REITs, private equity investors, and large hospitality companies in high-value transactions.


This Legal Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on multifaceted transactions, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to build a long-term legal support career without plans for law school.


Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Review commercial mortgage, loan, and financing documentation to assist attorneys with opinion letter preparation.
  • Track and process client and lender comments, ensuring all closing documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Draft and manage “items needed” checklists and assist in preparing final opinions.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of LLC agreements, LP agreements, formation documents, and other transactional materials.
  • Liaise with attorney teams and clients for time-sensitive document delivery and FedEx coordination.
  • Organize and prepare final opinion packages for delivery to major law firm clients and financial institutions.


Hours:

Standard 40-hour workweek. This role is 100% onsite (no exceptions).

Salary:

$60K to $70K depending on experience
