S&A Legal Management Services, Inc., is a well-established multi-state legal recoveries law firm seeking a Legal Assistant to support our Charleston, SC office.
Since our inception in May 2000, we've evolved into a significant player in debt recovery litigation, providing comprehensive solutions for major banks and creditors with continued growth experienced and planned.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and assemble all legal documents
- Communicate with courts, opposing counsel, and other legal support members
- Track and receive all media, affidavits, and pleadings
- Enter all applicable information into the firm's case management system
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible
- Ability to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Ability to work with databases and on-line technological platforms
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner
Qualified candidates must be energetic, reliable, detail oriented, be able to prioritize to meet goals, and possess good problem-solving skills.
