Pay Rate: $57.68/hour
Location: Hybrid in Wisconsin (on-site Tuesday–Thursday required)
Schedule: Full-time, contract through March 2026 with potential extension

Overview:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to support a defense vehicle program with a focus on the Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicle (DXPV). These roles require strong hands-on verification, DFMEA, and DVP&R experience, along with familiarity in CAD tools and prototype development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage DFMEA documentation, identifying potential failure modes and leading reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and execute DVP&R (Design Verification Plans & Reports), including hands-on involvement in testing and build coordination.
- Support verification testing and prepare for detailed design reviews.
- Contribute to prototype builds, issue documentation, and coordination with shop floor teams.
- Manage engineering change notices, release processes, and maintain project documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure timely project execution.
- Provide technical mentorship, troubleshoot complex design issues, and drive process improvements.
Top Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Direct experience with DFMEA creation and facilitation.
- Strong background in DVP&R, verification testing, and new product development.
- Familiarity with CREO and Windchill for CAD/drawing management.
- Comfortable with prototype development and build coordination.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Recent, hands-on experience in verification, testing, and prototype builds.
- Experience in automotive or defense new product launches.
- Skilled in engineering change notice management and release processes.
- Strong ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and present technical decisions.
