Responsibilities:
-Scheduling title searches with Real Estate Title Abstractor and Attorney including working with third parties such as lenders, tax collectors, and municipal utilities
-Preparing settlement statements, title insurance policies, deeds, and other related real estate closing documents including preparing lender prepared documents for execution at closing
-Communication with clients, lenders, sellers, and other third parties by phone, correspondence, and email
Skills:
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Word
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of legal documents
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
-Strong organizational skills
- Strong administrative skills to handle various tasks efficiently
- Ability to organize and maintain files, both physical and electronic
This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask effectively, and have a strong attention to detail.
Prior legal experience preferred
