Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Network / IT Professional to join our team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining, securing, and improving our network and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong foundation in networking, systems administration, and troubleshooting, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Depending on experience and certifications, this role can scale from IT Support to Network Engineer or Systems Administrator.
Core Responsibilities
- Knowledge of installation, configuring, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Support server and workstation environments across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms.
- Administer core network services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Implement and maintain endpoint protection, patch management, and backup solutions.
- Support end-users and internal teams by troubleshooting network and hardware issues.
- Assist with cloud and virtualization technologies (AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Maintain clear documentation of network configurations, incidents, and procedures.
- Provide help desk support, technical support, upgrade services, and repairs for company computers, servers, and networks. Assisted with the setup of new computers and remote troubleshooting of computers.
- Deliver up to a Tier 3 support for CCTV camera monitoring, access control systems, ISP, and VoIP systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations.
Required Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing/switching
- Operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS administration
- Hardware: Routers, switches, firewalls, access points, servers, cabling
- Cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud fundamentals
- Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, or VirtualBox
- Security: Firewalls, access control, encryption, endpoint protection

Recommended Certifications
- CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+

Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–7 years of progressive IT/networking experience depending on level
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000 to $85,000 DOE
