We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Collection Technician to join our growing team in a dual-role position that combines hands-on specimen collection with administrative support.
The ideal candidate is professional, personable, curious and accuracy-driven, with a strong commitment to customer service and continuous education.
This part-time position is ideal for individuals needing weekday flexibility within the following hours:
Monday-Thursday
900AM - 2:00PM and 3:30PM - 5:00PM
Fridays
9:00AM - 1:00PM and 3:30PM - 5:00PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform DOT and non-DOT specimen collections (urine, saliva, hair, nail, blood and DNA)
- Maintain strict chain of custody, packaging and courier procedures
- Answer inbound calls, follow scripts and schedule testing appointments
- Maintain full client privacy and confidentiality
- Manage customer and client questions and concerns with respect, discretion and compliance
- Collect and record client payments
- Report test results accurately according to client protocols
- Monitor, track and restock testing supplies
- Follow up on service leads and conduct outbound sales calls
- Assist with office organization, sanitization and cleanliness (reception, stairwell, testing areas)
- Perform general office tasks and additional duties as assigned
Role Summary:
As a Drug Testing Technician, you play an integral role in ensuring the accurate and proper collection of specimens for drug and DNA tests. This position may require same-gender observed and supervised collections.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fluent in English (Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred)
- Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable handling biological specimens (PPE provided)
- Able to perform physical tasks (bending, stooping, standing, lifting up to 35 lbs)
- Microsoft Office, Google Workspace skills (data entry, email, file management)
- Flexible with technology, utilizing different operating systems and websites
- Drug-free workplace (background check and drug test required)
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens, as this position supports work under government contracts.
Training Timelines:
Within 30 days of hire:
- DOT/Non-DOT Urine Specimen and EBT/BAT Collector Certification
- Hair/Nail/Blood Collector Certification
- DNA Collection Training
Within 60 days of hire:
- Immigration DNA Collection Training
- TPA Training
