Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher
Location: Detroit Metro Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift
Pay: $40-45/hour (based on licensure & experience)
Are you passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and supporting students with diverse needs? We’re looking for a Special Education Teacher to join our team in a long-term, internal position with a consistent weekday schedule—no weekends!
What You’ll Do:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs
- Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Requirements:
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement
- Experience with IEPs and differentiated instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Background check and fingerprint clearance
