Job Description
As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will remain visible throughout the property, provide outstanding customer service, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols within the tech, media, or telecom environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
