Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering with a focus on non-destructive testing (NDT) and will be responsible for leading technical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing expert guidance to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using various methods including ultrasonic testing (UT), penetrant testing (PT), and magnetic particle testing (MT).
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ASNT and FHWA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
  • Conduct material testing and analysis including mechanical, metallurgical, and structural assessments.
  • Assist in business development efforts by providing technical expertise and support in client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical engineering roles with a focus on NDT.
  • Certification in NDT methods (ASNT Level II or higher preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of business development processes and client relationship management.
  • Experience with additional NDT methods such as PAUT, GPR, and thermography is desirable.
  • Familiarity with welding inspections and certifications (CWI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
