We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer / Licensed PE with expertise in hydraulic and hydrologic engineering to oversee stormwater management projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing effective stormwater management systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement stormwater management systems in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses to support project development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site assessments and evaluations for stormwater management solutions.
- Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations and standards.
- Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification is a plus
- Strong understanding of stormwater management principles and practices
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for engineering design
- Experience with water quality management and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of site development, land development, and grading practices
- Experience in construction management and infrastructure development
- Familiarity with hydrology, geotechnical engineering, and flood control design
