About Cork Potential – Our Internship Program
Cork Potential is ACS’s flagship internship program, designed to challenge and inspire final-year students and recent graduates through real-world business problems. Over the course of 5 months, each intern will be assigned a strategic project that directly addresses a key need within the company.
The program includes:
- A dedicated project supervisor
- Monthly follow-up meetings to track progress
- A final Pitch Day, where interns present their solutions to a panel of senior leaders
The winning intern will receive a $1,000 scholarship to invest in further training or education.
Outstanding performance may lead to an employment offer at ACS.
Requirements:
Proposed Problem
To further enhance the efficiency and consistency of our operations, there is an opportunity to strengthen the foundation of training, process standardization, and performance tracking within the Sales Operations and Supply Chain teams. Establishing clear SOPs, structured onboarding tools, and robust KPI visualization will support continuous improvement and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Project & Main Objectives
The intern will:
- Develop and write standardized training guides for key operational functions (Order Entry, Outbound, Logistics, Inventory Management, Purchasing) using SAP and EWM.
- Create one-page, user-friendly SOPs to drive process alignment and consistency.
- Assist in designing a Power BI dashboard to visualize key KPIs and improve performance monitoring across the department.

- Easy-to-navigate SOPs accessible to all team members.
- A functional and insightful KPI dashboard built in Power BI that enables real-time performance tracking and supports data-driven decisions.
- Increased consistency in training, improved knowledge retention, and stronger accountability for execution.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented intern with a passion for systems, data, and operational efficiency.
Academic Background:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Technical Communication, or Instructional Design.
IT Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable dashboards and performance insights.
Other Skills:
- Strong writing and communication skills, particularly for instructional and training content.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of operational workflows in logistics, inventory, or supply chain is a plus.
