Nat-Su Healthcare is looking for an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to join our organization. This role provides leadership and operational oversight ensuring the quality and effectiveness of clinical services while also maintaining compliance with regulatory standards while also focusing on continuous improvement and client/patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quality assurance policies and procedures across all service areas.
  • Customize quality metrics and data reports to assess program effectiveness and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of clinical services and operational practices to ensure adherence to state, federal, and IHSguidelines.
  • Ensure that all staff are informed of relevant regulations and compliance procedures.
  • Analyze data on service delivery, outcomes, and client satisfaction to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for enhancement in service quality.
  • Prepare and present reports to management regarding quality assurance findings, staff performance, and program compliance.
  • Develop training programs for staff to enhance their understanding of quality standards and best practices in service delivery
  • Foster culture of quality improvement and accountability among staff.
  • Work closely with clinical and operational leaders to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance measures throughout the organization.
  • Facilitate communication around quality improvement initiatives and foster collaborative efforts across departments.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to solicit feedback and ensure their needs and concerns are addressed in program development.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and other stakeholders.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in a related field such as healthcare administration, quality assurance, or public health preferred.
  • Knowleadge and experience with IHS 638 contracts.
  • Experience with State,CARF accreditation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in behavioral health.
  • Extensive experience in behavioral health or a related field, with a focus on quality assurance or quality improvement.
  • Five years' professional experience in direct client care, analysis, contract management, process improvement and quality experience are preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory position with progressive management and leadership.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within a healthcare setting, clinical, client/patient care experience is highly recommended.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and interpreting compliance metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
