Job DescriptionCommercial Employees is seeking a Field Service Technician to join a team in Concord, NC. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working hands-on with equipment, solving technical issues, and providing excellent customer service.
Field Service Technician Responsibilities:• Perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment, including cleaning, servicing, and training operators/maintenance staff -Example Equipment- Plasma cutter, CNC metal cutting tools, and programing software. • Contact customers prior to service calls and provide timely updates• Troubleshoot customer equipment both onsite and via phone support• Monitor preventative maintenance plans based on consumable purchases• Maintain excellent customer relations through proactive communication• Complete work orders promptly and accurately, including labor details, parts used, and required signaturesField Service Technician Requirements:• Previous field service, mechanical / electrical, or technical repair experience strongly preferred• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Must be able to travel — overnight travel will be required• Valid driver’s licenseMonday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMCommercial Employees is a veteran-owned staffing firm with operations in Pittsburgh, Charleston, SC and Charlotte.
