General Responsibilities:

<li>Teach ski/snowboard skill development both in group and private lesson settings while providing friendly and respectful customer service</li>
<li>Create and participate in a positive and inclusive workplace.</li>
<li>Have a working knowledge of:</li>
<li>Mt. Baker Ski Area mountain policies and procedures</li>
<li>Familiarity of ski area facilities and services available </li>
<li>Perform duties as trained</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Willingness to learn</li>
<li>Must be 18 years or older</li>
<li>Must have contemporary ski or snowboard equipment and outer-wear </li>
<li>Confident skiing/riding ability on beginner terrain as a minimum</li>
</ul>
Successful completion of the:
<ul>
<li>Instructor training by an authorized Mt. Baker Ski Area trainer</li>
<li>Applicant Disclosure and Authorization for Background Inquiry</li>
</ul>
Starting Pay Rate:
<ul>
<li>Rate begins at $16.66/hour with increases for experience, merit, tenure and future WA State minimum wage adjustments possible. </li>
