SUMMARY
The Team Lead DSP position involves lead responsibilities in Community Integrated Living Arranged (CILA) homes. They maintain the activity schedules, safety checks, house documentation, grocery shopping, cleaning, and assist their reporting manager with other duties to maintain daily operations of the CILA. They provide on-the-job training and perform regular DSP duties to enhance residents' quality of life and independence. The Lead DSP must maintain a good working relationship and communication with residents, families, colleagues, and Disability Leaders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

<li>Ensure the daily documentation of CILA home responsibilities.</li>
<li>Assist with developing household activity schedules and town hall meetings in collaboration with other team members and reporting manager.</li>

<li>Complete and/or assist all housekeeping tasks including cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, and client rooms; washing dishes/ doing laundry; dusting surfaces; cleaning refrigerator/stove, and all other duties assigned by manager(s) and director.</li>
<li>Report and document issues with clients regarding overall heath, medication, dental and mental health concerns to manager(s) and/or the agency nurse.</li>
<li>Implements dynamic, person-centered client programming across multiple domains, including but not limited to independent living skills, social/emotional development, communication, problem-solving, vocational development, and safety.</li>
<li>Assists in planning and directly implementing ongoing community-based activities for all clients, in accordance with individual client goals and preferences.</li>
<li>Ensures timely completion of all client paperwork.</li>
<li>Ensures adherence to all mandated reporter, OIG guidelines, and DHS guidelines.</li>
<li>Implements positive and proactive behavior management techniques and interventions as identified in clients’ behavior intervention plans.</li>

Job Summary:
The Lead Care Manager (LCM) role involves developing personalized care plans, coordinating member services, and collaborating closely with members and families, as well as Primary Care Providers to ensure they receive necessary medical treatment and support. The LCM will consult with members to determine their needs, develop individualized action plans, and work with care teams to manage the member experience effectively. <li>Works one-on-one with people on interpersonal skills, production, work quality, and other life skills as outlined in a person's PCP or individualized employment plan.</li>

<li>Performs job duties in a safe manner and assures safe environment for people by maintaining a clean and orderly work area, using proper lifting techniques, positioning people safely, safely securing people in their wheelchairs, and addressing safety concerns before an incident occurs. </li>
<li>Maintains and implements all applicable safety laws, regulations, and policies. Assures safety of people in the program and staff at Goodwill, in transportation, and in community activities.</li>
<li>Responsible for immediate completion of accident report forms, unusual occurrences reports, and/or CMH Incident Reports. </li>
<li>Ensure that person is dressed appropriately, clean, toileted/diapered as needed and that all other care needs are attended to according to guidelines.</li>
<li>Take initiative to perform tasks involving laundry, dishes, food preparation, outing and break time coverage, and other essential responsibilities as assigned.</li>
