Position Summary: Responsible for operation of chemical processing equipment, packaging equipment and material handling equipment meeting the requirements outlined in standard operating procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Handles hazardous wastes during generation, transport, storage, or spill response activities. </li>

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Care for your clients:
<ul>
<li>Provide a friendly, compassionate environment, deep product/protocol knowledge and honest advice</li>
<li>Complete each Glowbar treatment in 30 minutes. No more, no less</li>
<li>Complete client notes in Glowbar Admin during every treatment</li>
<li>Ensure each client receives an extraordinary skincare treatment for their individual needs and goals, including but not limited to extractions, dermaplaning, LED light therapy, high frequency, ect.</li>
<li>Walk client through the why and benefits of each step of treatment</li>
<li>Educate clients about products and provide at-home routine suggestions using “Seal the Deal"</li>
<li>Achieve (or exceeds!) monthly product sales targets by thoughtfully educating clients about products and personalized at-home routine suggestions</li>
</ul>
Care for our team:
<ul>
<li>Provide feedback to management on progress and challenges and suggestions</li>
<li>Collaborate with fellow estheticians on best practices, client needs, and opportunities to improve the client experience</li>
<li>Complete treatment room checklist after every shift to set up next Esthetician for success</li>
<li>Log inventory replenishment accurately and consistently</li>
<li>Enhance and uphold standards, policies &amp; procedures through various means of communication</li>
<li>Participate in events onsite/offsite</li>
</ul>
REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Valid (temporary or permanent) state Esthetics License</li>
<li>1+ years experience as a licensed esthetician at a busy spa/salon with a proven track record of excellence in esthetics</li>
<li>Maintains an average of at least $1,000 product sales per month</li>
<li>Must love hospitality and interacting with customers</li>
<li>Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule - must have weekend, holiday, and some early morning/midday/late evening weekday availability</li>
<li>Full-time requires 5 days of open availability, including both weekend days</li>
<li>Part-time requires 3 days of open availability, including one weekend day</li>
<li>Weekend only requires open availability Saturday and Sunday every week</li>
<li>Strong understanding of salon standards, policies and procedures</li>
<li>Must be a forward-thinking problem solver with a strong work ethic who has compassion for employees and clients</li>
<li>Passion for beauty, skincare, learning and trying new things everyday</li>
<li>Established clientele a plus!</li>

Working Conditions:
 At Glowbar, our studios are active, client-focused environments — and we want you to know what’s involved behind the scenes. Here’s what you can expect physically in this role:

<li>Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the entire shift</li>
<li>Bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting (up to 15 pounds) — including merchandise, laundry, and back-of-house supplies</li>
