CV Resources is partnering with a publicly traded construction company to find a&nbsp;Human Resources&nbsp;Assistant who will provide comprehensive support in all areas of recruitment and HR operations. This role involves assisting with job postings, application processing, tracking applicants, and facilitating the hiring process. Additionally, the HR Assistant will support employees and supervisors with policy and benefits inquiries, assist with benefits administration, and help coordinate special projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:
<ul>
<li>Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, pre-employment testing, and new hire orientation.</li>
<li>Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers.</li>

Employee Support:
<ul>
<li>Respond to basic policy and benefits-related inquiries from employees and supervisors.</li>
<li>Coordinate the distribution of benefits-related communication materials.</li>

Benefits Administration:

<li>Support benefits administration tasks including record-keeping, training, and reporting.</li>
<li>Assist with the preparation and distribution of benefits-related materials.</li>

Administrative Duties:
<ul>
<li>Maintain departmental records and assist with document filing and retention.</li>
<li>Prepare materials for employee orientations.</li>
<li>Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.</li>
</ul>

Project Coordination:

<li>Assist with research, special projects, and reporting as required.</li>
<li>Manage high volumes of work and handle tasks under time constraints.</li>
</ul>

Policy Enforcement:

<li>Interpret and enforce company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with safety practices and promote a safe work environment.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Associate’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).</li>
<li>2-3 years of experience in an HR department or similar role.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic math skills.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.</li>
<li>Demonstrated professionalism, tact, and critical thinking in interactions with employees and the public.</li>
<li>Ability to work under deadlines and manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.</li>

Human Resources Assistant

Senior Strategic HR Business Partner, IBM Corporation, Yorktown Heights, NY: Provide advice and counsel to executives and senior managers on leading in times of transformation, organizational effectiveness and abroad range of culture, issues, and challenges in support of business goals. Interpret complex work force metrics using HR analytics tools. Design and execute talent strategy for the cutting-edge businesses. Drive talent functions including performance management, executive and leadership development, employee compensation, succession planning, talent and performance management, workforce optimization, and diversity. Leverage knowledge and interpretation of employee relations and labor laws for informed decision making for business effectiveness, to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with federal and state laws. Serve as team subject matter expert to lead business around HR transformational projects, agile methodology, and HR cloud technology systems (Workday HRMS SAP, Career Progression tools) and share best practices that can be leveraged across business units. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing KPMG Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Cognos Analytics, Advanced Microsoft Excel Macros, Visual-Basic, R Studio, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). $182,936.28 to $226,900.00 per year.
