Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Process reservations and manage room assignments
- Conduct night audit procedures to ensure accuracy of guest accounts
- Operate phone systems to handle incoming calls and transfer to appropriate departments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences
Skills:
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
- Proficient in night audit procedures, including reconciling accounts and generating reports
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with various phone systems and ability to handle multiple lines
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, particularly in [languages]
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems (e.g., [software name]) is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
