Picture this: it’s 7:00 AM in our Northshore facility. The shop lights up, fixtures are staged, and you’re reviewing a new set of blueprints for a high-precision build. You choose the right process—MIG, TIG, or stick—dial in your machine, and lay down clean, consistent beads. By mid-morning, you’re inspecting welds for integrity, collaborating with teammates to hit a production milestone, and sharing tips with a junior welder. It’s hands-on, high-impact work in a collaborative environment—exactly what you’ve been looking for in a long-term role.
How You’ll Contribute
- Execute multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, and stick) across a range of materials with precision and consistency.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to define specs, sequence work, and verify fit-up.
- Inspect and test welded joints to confirm structural integrity and quality standards.
- Maintain welding tools and machines to ensure peak performance and safety.
- Partner with the team to meet deadlines and production targets while communicating progress.
- Follow all safety procedures to sustain a safe, organized work area.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior welders when needed.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of professional welding experience.
- Fluency in reading technical documents and blueprints.
- Meticulous attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Strong troubleshooting skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) preferred but not required.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and operate equipment safely.
