Insurance Verification Agent – Pediatric Office

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Insurance Verification Agent to join our team and help ensure our patients have a smooth and stress-free experience.

Position Summary:

The Insurance Verification Agent is responsible for verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and assisting with patient eligibility before appointments. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable assisting at the front desk as needed, providing excellent customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for pediatric patients.

• Communicate effectively with insurance companies and patients.

• Accurately enter and update patient information in the EHR system.

• Support front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, when necessary.

• Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to ensure smooth workflows.

Qualifications:

✅ Minimum 1 year of insurance verification experience in a medical setting (pediatrics preferred).
✅ Strong understanding of medical insurance policies, authorizations, and referrals.
✅ Experience with EHR/EMR systems and office scheduling software.
✅ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
✅ Team-oriented, reliable, and professional demeanor.
