JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a Research Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for manufacturing and testing reagents used in RT-PCR, QPCR, and microarray kits, performing DNA purification and quantification, and supporting process validations and new product introductions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on molecular biology experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated laboratory environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform plasmid and DNA purifications and quantify DNA using nanodrop spectrophotometer.
• Manufacture and test complex master mixes and bulks for RT-PCR and QPCR kits.
• Manufacture and test microarray reagents used in genomic DNA labeling and hybridization kits.
• Analyze quantitative data and report results accurately.
• Assist in manufacturing process validations for new processes, products, and regulatory-level validations.
• Support the introduction of new products and exploration of new technologies to improve product quality.
• Collaborate with other teams in production and testing as required.
• Maintain stocks of raw materials required for manufacturing and quality control testing.
• Maintain a work environment based on 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Write, maintain, and review ISO-compliant Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BS/BA degree in biological science or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in chemistry, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry.
• Hands-on working knowledge of molecular biology techniques, including plasmid purifications, PCR, and QPCR.
• Experience with NGS or microarray testing is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and computer skills, especially proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel required).
