What You Will Receive as the Operations / Plant Manager:

  • Competitive Salary: $163,000 to $215,000/year Depending on Experience

What You Will Be Doing as the Operations / Plant Manager:

  • Overseeing all functional areas of the poultry processing plant, including:
    Production (3 shifts), Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, Scheduling, Sanitation, and Continuous Improvement

  • Driving operational excellence to meet productivity, cost, quality, and safety targets

  • Motivating and developing managers to uplift team performance and skill levels

  • Reviewing cost and performance data to identify and implement improvements

  • Managing issues related to the quality of raw materials and finished goods

  • Compiling and presenting monthly expense and efficiency reports

  • Leading Talent Mapping, Succession Planning, and supporting Retention Programs

  • Ensuring compliance with Food Safety, Food Quality, and Food Legality requirements

  • Promoting and implementing TQM (Total Quality Management) throughout the plant

  • Leading capital improvement projects from approval through execution

  • Initiating improvements across all production phases

  • Identifying, evaluating, and resolving operational challenges

  • Supporting ongoing development of SOPs, safety programs, and continuous improvement culture

What You Will Need to Have as the Operations / Plant Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or professional field (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years of progressive operations or plant management experience

  • Experience in the Food Processing Industry preferred

  • Strong leadership experience managing multiple teams or departments

  • Ability to analyze data, lead process improvement, and drive accountability

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • SAP or ERP system experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to travel 6–11 times per year

  • Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and quality systems
