Summary StatementAre you ready to dive into a world of imagination, precision, and craftsmanship? We are on the lookout for a dependable CNC Operator to join our dynamic fabrication team. If you're excited about using technology to bring ideas to life, cutting wood and foam into amazing parts, and helping build immersive attractions, this might just be your calling!The primary focus of this position is operating CNC equipment to produce parts and components for attractions like laser tag arenas, mini golf courses, escape rooms, and more.Duties & Responsibilities:Operate CNC routers and related equipment to cut wood, MDF, foam, and plasticsLoad and secure raw materials onto the CNC tableZero tools and set machine origins according to job requirementsRun pre-programmed CNC files safely and efficientlyMonitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as neededUse measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) to verify part dimensions and qualityRead and follow build documents, part labels, and basic shop drawingsUse a computer to access build docs, CNC files, and time trackingPerform basic machine upkeep such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing toolsLabel, organize, and stage cut parts for downstream departments (assembly, paint, etc.)Assist with sanding or light prep work on parts when neededMaintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety proceduresKeys to success:Punctual and reliableStrong attention to detail and accuracySense of urgency while maintaining qualityComfortable working with computers and machineryGood communication skillsTeam player with a positive attitudeWillingness to learn new software, tools, and processesQualification Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read a tape measure and perform basic math (fractions, decimals)Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as neededRelatable Job Experience CNC router operation (wood, plastics, or foam)Cabinetry, woodworking, or millwork shop experienceManufacturing or production environment experienceDetail parts assemblingMachine operation (routers, panel saws, edge banders, etc.)CAD/CAM exposure (e.g., VCarve, EnRoute, or similarPay and Benefits:Full-time Hourly Non-ExemptHours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Monday through Friday (Overtime is a possibility based on production timelines and deadlines)Medical, dental, vision, life, ancillary, & pet insurance coverage opportunities availableFinancial wellness program availableEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401K opportunities available (Standard Safe Harbor Match)Employee Discount ProgramGenerous PTO PlanParental time for the birth or adoption of a childSeveral paid holidays (for full-time employees)Paid Volunteer Time Off to serve at a 501(c)3 charitable organization on behalf of the companyOnsite fitness facilitySalary: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour based on experience*This is an onsite position located at our facility on the southwest side of Indianapolis, IN near I-465 & Sam Jones Expressway.
